A friend said recently, I have aspirations of an eagle but I am still a pigeon.
I am a dreamer and often dream,so these are mine.
Be wealthy – this is actually a new dream for me. I never aspired or wanted to be wealthy, I was happy enough with the little I had and even though I moaned on occasion, actually money was never a big thing.
This is now different. I want wealth so I can give more, help more, influence more, contribute more and improve the lives financially of friends and family and strangers just as they have helped me#pay it forward.
Financially free so not mega rich but enough to not ever have to worry where my next meal came from, whether I would have enough for bills, whether to decide what to go without in order for me to have something else.
Help as many people as I can in life – There is nothing more in this world that makes me happier than when I am helping someone. I am a voice for the voiceless, I seek justice where there is injustice, I am a friend to the friendless.
To Travel – I adore travelling seeing new places, experiencing new cultures. Food and drink remains high up there, but seeing the world, waterfalls, and caverns and beaches and wild rivers, and sea turtles and nature in the wild and free.
Seeing more of friends – A lot of friends I keep in touch with the odd text out of the blue or through social media, but this will never replace that one to one meeting. Love or hate me, I make impressions on people, hopefully more love.
Ignore the mood hoovers, dream stealers and negative vibes – we not what we are saying here right. I have no time in my life for these folk, I am going places with or without you, there is the door.
I wanted to thank Rayven Satterfield for her blog that inspired me to keep following my dreams. I really applaud and respect people like her, so do check out her blog also… a fellow dreamer
This morning I roll out of bed without an alarm clock or three going off at six am. Don’t you just hate it when they go off?
I figure I can reach and put the kettle on. I put the online radio on, I turn my phone on and lap top and I am ready to start a different type of work as an online mentor.
There is an amazing feeling of knowing I don’t have to go “into work” I am not on shift, I don’t have to drive and face traffic, I don’t have those work pressures. it…is liberating!
Instead I am relaxed, reading and writing, listening and tasting. My senses are alive!!!
There are You tube videos of people just “living life to the full” appearing to have a care free life, freedom. It can be done if you know what you are doing, with the right tools and help. Maybe you are doing that already and seeing the benefits, feeling the freedom in life!
I would love to have a day or six like this every day, maybe mix it up with a walk along the beach, boating, gym (maybe not) and improve my health,my figure. but you know those things you always say you would like to do if you have more time, it would be amazing right, but I am discovering it is possible with the right mentors.
I continuously research more ways to make money, for myself and for others, whether that is saving or making money. It is great making money, allowing me to do the things I want to do, that interest me. I get to work-the-lifestyle-I want.
When I started out I had to do what I call a “self audit” of what my gifts and talents were, what I could do, what my interests were, even if it was playing games, watching you tube clips or the tv, there was money to be made in just those.
I have a day job, which I love, caring and supporting a small community of disabled adults who are more family really. I love enabling them to do things for themselves. It is so humbling and amazing. If I could, I would do this for free as a guest or visitor would be better.
It is not crazy thinking or any false claims, but I would love a job on my terms, no one to answer to, come and go as I please..now that’s living for me, does that actually exist? The answer is simply YES.
More and more people are realising they do not have to work harder or longer, but are learning to work smarter and at the same time still earning more. This is phenomenal!
I realised that just having a dream, but not knowing how to achieve it, is and was unfruitful and emotional. I couldn’t figure it out. I needed mentors and I found them and so grateful I did.
I would like to thank the SFM teamand community and my other online friends from across the country and in other countries in fact for opening my eyes and getting my creative juices flowing which is awesome in itself as I would never in a million years use me and the word creative together.
Now I am alive with ideas.
In your life whether it was a great relative, or teacher, or friend, whoever it is the right people in your life can make the difference!
I want to make a difference. Now I am thinking big, bigger, and I am seeing the difference happen before my eyes
I am learning new things, I have income streams, I am dreaming up websites and business ideas.
I believe education is important, but the best education is that which touches you and grabs you, same with training.
I have a huge mistrust of people and for good reasons – but there are really good folk out there.
I have learned that these so called “good folk” also need a lot of support and encouragement themselves. If I had a time machine I would go back and say thanks to those people.
I cannot do that to folk in the past, but I can do it to folk of the present because they will help shape my future and actually they may not know it but i will shape them too. Love or hate me I am memorable!
I need to thank you for reading this, please hear me when I say this, and can I ask that you say hi or something if you follow. or read this or get in touch.
As much as I love writing and sharing it can be hard and a struggle to share thoughts.
If you have a blog, or have a business, a dream, in work and want more in life, not in work and maybe seeking support, just drop me a line, I genuinely would love to connect with you and just share life.
My dad once asked me, “son what do you wanna do when you grow up?”
I replied “I just want to help people.”
Dad, I am afraid I still have not grown up. I still play on video games, only some earn me money these days, I am still as daft and careless and care free.
I have to give a big shout out to my dad, not that he follows me or is technical, not always the best father, (like me)but he is a great business man, a man of ethics and honour. I once asked him when I was “grown up”
“Dad, how can I have money and a family life?”
He said “son you cant have both?”
I chose to work part time and be there for my kids at a huge financial cost, brought stress to my relationship, but as a father I felt this was important and and friends say, wow, you do great things with your kids, you try really hard.
If I go on some sites I read how partners wished their partners did more with the kids, contributed more emotionally, did more around the house, was more supportive. I read this time and time again and it is heart breaking. I want to scream at the Dads…come on dad, there are dads that would love that opportunity…it makes me real mad, but then I also want to share with the women, that actually you think the way to out heart is through our stomach..partly,,but just as you like encouragement, strike our ego a little more, give us more praise for what we do do, instead of what we don’t do. We may not contribute in the same way, but maybe we contribute in the way we know, I mean who are our role models right! You want us to be more understanding….it works both ways. (I appreciate it is not always this black and white…trust me., but we are all a work in progress)
If you fancy a chat and need someone to listen, to mediate, let me help, I don’t even charge.
It is a known fact that money is one of the biggest issues in a relationship. You can read more about my life which I share on my personal blog.
I have nothing to sell, no product or anything like that, I just love people and take a genuine interest in others as it helps to take my mind away from my own problems – you know what I am talking about!
For the record I do believe you can have money and family life. I may not be there yet but I am working towards it and on the path to financial freedom.
Question – How good are you at keeping secrets or sharing?
For the last few weeks I have been focusing on making money rather than saving money.
That said, I was excited to deposit money at the end of this month I had been saving into 3 pots, a christmas saving pot, a charity box, and another saving pot.
You may not think this in itself is amazing, however having never saved before or having an emergency fund or rainy day pot, those who also struggle with saving will also think this is huge, and it is huge…
I have hit a wall with income streams, and trying to trickle more money while searching for, “the big money makers” and getting no where (or so it seems)
I really want to know the insider secrets but I don’t want to buy software that may or may not deliver, I don’t want to invest in stocks or bit coin that I can lose on, I want certainties, assurances, genuineness, and trust.
My dream is to work from home, internet, or writing or research but also helping people to realise their dreams and seeing them soar and I can’ t do this by myself, I need you!
In my own journey i’ve seen people excited at saving that works for them through something I shared, seeing peoples face light up when I teach them things or open their eyes to opportunities. This is what excites me.!
I have seen how the strategies I have learned have enabled me in just 2 months, to clear credit card debt, over draft debt, save, pay for a holiday, have spare spending money, get a bigger place to live, buy a new car, (still second hand but vast up grade)
I know that this is a drop in the ocean and just the start for me.
I am dedicated, I love to learn, and I persevere.
I thank you all who follow me as I love your blogs or looking at what you do, and would love to connect with entrepreneurs who are interested or already mentor others. You folk inspire me but also scare me as I wish I was as successful.
I believe in the “pay it forward” ideology, so if you have any tips or secrets you could share with those struggling or just setting out, would be amazing.
If you are reading this and it’s you who needs support, drop me a line, i’m a good listener and sounding board.
When I started my money mission a few months ago, I had a vision of tiny streams coming into a river.
I’ve had similar visions of picking money bags off trees and these magically being replaced.
You may scoff or laugh at such dreams but within these there are several learning tips.
Firstly it’s good to dream!
By focusing on our dreams we can work towards them, and I mean work.
Opportunities may come your way, search and seek and they will come, but we may have to work for them.
Streams of income may come in a variety of shapes and sizes,
Be Grateful for the small or large, but always be on the look out as mentioned above, as any of these sources could dry up!
Emotional Awareness – this may not affect everyone but it can be a hard battle constantly searching and working for income streams, passive income, and I wish there was an easy way of doing it, but easy usually comes with risks or uncertainties or more research and work or trust.
So this is a real thing and a passion of mine researching and getting things for nothing!
Imagine being fed up of having no money, poor, having to watch budgets always in debt or near to it, maybe if you are reading this you don’t have to imagine!
I began a few years ago to explore the possibility of living for free or next to nothing.
I saw a show where women would turn up at supermarkets with handfuls of vouchers and pay for trolley loads of shopping. I was in awe.. I wanted to be that person.(extreme couponing)
I began then a search to see how this was possible and to look at other ways of saving.
Now if I could teach you how to get something for nothing and live for free how much would that be worth to you?
Would you take a sneek peek into such a book or buy me coffee, coffee would be nice!
As a teaser imagine you had a small child or relative, and you wanted to save money for them but let’s face it saving can be tough right. I discovered a site that will pay you every time you do say a normal purchase from amazon argos or boots plus lots more. Now don’t get me wrong this is not a huge amount, pennies even, but after a year… and you could get others involved to pay into this account too as they shop your child is quids in.
I’m one of those people that would love to give to charity, I would, but again I struggle. In a similar way there are sites similar to the above that as you do your normal online shop, they also will donate to your chosen charity at no cost to you.
Now, if you are thinking this sounds too good to be true, which I would and alarm bells would ring for me also, imagine just what if this were true.
I’m thinking this is worth me investigating more.
Perhaps you have your own hints and tips that you could share!
I’m just a poor guy raising funds to give his family and friends a better life.
If I can make changes, and learn, anyone can.
